The I/O Net p I/O modules are decentralized input modules which monitor safety functions directly in the field. Communication with the evaluation device is via a safe data link.

The passive junction is used for forwarding signals from sensors connected decentrally in the field to various evaluation devices, in accordance with protection type IP67. Up to four PSENcode units can be connected.
