Modules for safe monitoring of one or more axes are available. There are pre-assembled connection cables for connecting to all common incremental encoders using drive-specific connection cables in various lengths. The industrial, open-ended interface Mini I/O and D-sub adapter are also available for self-assembly.
Accessories available for PNOZmulti and PNOZmulti Mini include connection cable, chip cards, terminals, chip card reader and chip card adapter.
The PNOZmulti Toolkit contains the accessories you need to get started with PNOZmulti: a documentation folder containing the PNOZmulti Configurator DVD (no License), a chip card reader, a chip card set (32 kByte, 10 pieces) and a configuration cable.

Your safety circuit is easy to create on the PC using the PNOZmulti Configurator. The configuration tool supports you with the project design, configuration, documentation and commissioning of Pilz controllers.
On the graphics-based, Windows®-compliant user interface all elements are available for your safety circuit as icons or in selection menus. Online help with documentation is available during configuration of the safety circuit. Once it is complete, the tool checks the circuit for any errors.
The fully configured safety circuit can be certified to protect it from unwanted changes. You can edit, amend or expand uncertified configurations of your safety circuit at any time. Simply call them up in the PNOZmulti Configurator! The configuration can be printed out and used as documentation.
The communication modules and fieldbus modules of the PNOZmulti 2 product range are used to connect to common fieldbus systems such as PROFIBUS-DP, PROFINET, CANopen etc. An expansion module with serial interface (RS-232) is available, as is a connection to Ethernet systems. The data that is read out can be used for diagnostics, visualization or control. A maximum of 1 fieldbus module and an additional maximum 1 communication module - ETH or RS-232 - can be connected to the left of the base unit.
The base units PNOZmulti 2 are modular and expandable and meet PL e (EN ISO 13849-1) and SIL CL 3 (IEC 62061). The base units PNOZ m B0 and PNOZ m B1 can be expanded on the left-hand side with max. 4 expansion modules, max. 1 communication module and max. 1 fieldbus module. PNOZ m B0 can be expanded on the right-hand side with 6 expansion modules, while PNOZ m B1 can have a max. of 13. PNOZ m B1 has no inputs or outputs, except for 4 test pulse outputs.
Base units with 20 digital inputs, 4 digital semiconductor outputs and 2 relay outputs. All types are equipped with ETH interface and meet PL e (EN ISO 13849-1) and SIL CL 3 (IEC 62061).
Expansion modules for reading diagnostic or visualization data or for control are available for connection to a base unit in the PNOZmulti Mini product range. Many common fieldbus systems are available: PROFIBUS-DP, DeviceNet, CANopen, CC-Link and EtherCAT. 2 communication modules with Ethernet ETH and serial interface RS-232 are also available. A maximum of 1 fieldbus module and 1 communication module can be connected to the left of an expandable base unit PNOZmulti Mini.
Base units for monitoring more than 3 safety functions. Various types are available: PNOZ mm op stand-alone; PNOZ mm 0p-T stand-alone, for an extended temperature range. PNOZ mm 0.1p modular expandable, PNOZ mm 0.2p modular expandable with integrated Multi-Link interface for connecting multiple base units. The expandable base units can be expanded with a maximum of four link and communication modules on the left-hand side and a maximum of one PNOZsigma relay expansion module on the right-hand side.
